What to Expect

Every visit is different because every patient is. Still, most appointments follow a familiar shape.

Arrival and check-in

You will be greeted, we will confirm your information, and we will ask what brought you in. If you have insurance, bring your card so our team can review it with you.

A conversation before anything else

We start with what you have noticed: when it happens, how long it has been going on, and how it affects your day. This is the part that shapes the rest of the visit, so take your time with it.

The examination

Depending on your needs, the visit may include measuring how you see at distance and up close, evaluating how your eyes focus and work together, and examining the health of the eye.

Dr. Pham will tell you what he is looking at and what he sees as he goes, and questions are welcome throughout.

Your results, in plain language

Before you leave, you should be able to answer three questions: what is going on with my eyes, what are my options, and when should I be seen again. If anything is unclear, ask us to go back over it.

Eyewear, if you need it

If your prescription changes, you can look at frames and lens options in the same office, with help from a team that already knows what was recommended.

After your visit

Call the office if a symptom changes, if a new question comes up, or if your glasses or contacts do not feel right. Adjustments and questions are part of your care.
