Eye Disease Management
Living with an eye condition is easier when someone is watching it closely with you and explaining what changes mean.
What does eye disease management include?
It includes evaluating a diagnosed ocular or retinal condition, monitoring it over time so changes are noticed early, explaining what the findings mean, and coordinating with the other providers involved in your care.
Experience behind the care
Dr. Pham has been certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease since December 1993 and licensed to practice therapeutic optometry in Texas since June 1995. Ocular disease and retinal care have been part of the practice since it opened in 1995.
How ongoing management works
Conditions are followed with regular evaluation so that changes can be recognized early. At each visit we review your symptoms, examine the eye, compare findings with your history, and tell you what we are watching and why.
If the condition changes, or if additional care is appropriate, Dr. Pham will explain the options and coordinate with the providers involved.
Understanding your diagnosis
A diagnosis is easier to live with when you understand it. We aim to leave you with clear answers to three questions: what is happening, what we are doing about it, and when you should be seen again.
Between visits
Call the office if you notice a change rather than waiting for your scheduled visit. Please use the phone for anything urgent, since website forms are not monitored continuously.
