Care shaped by listening first
Dr. Nghiem N. Pham has cared for Pasadena families since 1995, and much of his day is spent doing the part of optometry he values most: listening, examining carefully, and explaining what he finds so patients can make confident decisions about their eyes.
Dr. Pham earned his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston in 1992, was certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease in 1993, and has been licensed to practice therapeutic optometry in Texas since 1995. He has owned and led MC Eye Center & Optical since 1995.
He speaks English, Spanish, and Vietnamese, which means patients can describe symptoms and ask questions in the language they think in.
Dr. Pham has been involved with the Vietnamese Civic Center for many years and has served as Chair of its Board of Directors. That work reflects how he sees the practice: part of a community rather than apart from it.
Away from the office he plays acoustic guitar and enjoys traveling with his family.
